Daniel and friends were planning a trip to Busch Gardens today....that was before Hurricane Sandy came along and altered plans. The park was closed down, trip canceled, a party planned and for some unexplained reason, that was also canceled. We lost power only for about three hours during the middle of the night....starting when we were in the midst of making cookies for the party that was not to be. So Daniel and I hunkered down today and watched a movie. Later we went out to get some milk, sodas, and makings for chili. Lots of water and wind. Not too much damage for our eyes...but we didn't venture where the damage has been reported. Snapped a few photos...including one up the road with a trampoline wrapped around a tree.
Called Mrs. Foreman to check on her....been a long time since we have chatted.
Tonight Daniel and I will watch Once Upon a Time, eat chili and make milkshakes. Happily no school (or work for me) tomorrow.
