So the boys get home from their overnight adventure to the rock gym around nine this morning. Randy and Daniel change into their scout uniforms and go help out at the pancake breakfast at the church for about an hour. For the rest of the day, Randy and the boys were tired, but rallied. We went out to Spankey's for lunch and then rode around trying to decide where to get our pumpkins this year. After trying a couple of places, we just decided to go to Food Lion. We got four nice, round pumpkins for sixteen dollars. That is only a fraction of what we are used to paying at the farm market. I don't miss spending all that money, but I sure miss the atmosphere. Afraid Food Lion just can't compare. We spent much of the afternoon at the new park. Made a stop by the house to grab cameras and then walked the boardwalk through the wetlands. It was so beautiful! Afterwards we made a stop by the boat show and then slurpees. What a wonderful way to spend a beautiful afternoon!
